Unit Testing in .NET

In computer programming, unit testing is a procedure used to validate that individual units of source code are working properly. A unit is the smallest testable part of an application. In procedural programming a unit may be an individual program, function, procedure, etc., while in object-oriented programming, the smallest unit is a method, which may belong to a base/super class, abstract class or derived/child class.

Nnunit is the earlier version of .net unit testing framework. Then Munit comes. Then xnuit also joins. Visual studio Team system itself got its own unit testing framework. here's the links for the major unit testing frameworks.

Visual LINQ Query Builder

Visual LINQ Query Builder is an add-in to Visual Studio 2008 Designer that helps you visually build LINQ to SQL queries. Functionally it provides the same experience as, for instance the Microsoft Access Query Builder, but in the LINQ domain. The entire UI of this add-in uses Windows Presentation Foundation. The goal of this tool is to help users become more familiar with the LINQ syntax. The tool may also demonstrate to users how to create their own Visual Studio 2008 add-in using Windows Presentation Foundation. More info here

cool. i am testing this one now. i Used mostly vnc for sharing the Desktop. i find lots of problem with connectiong to a computer inside the network and some firewall issues. Hope this one solve all those worries.

i just now tried with one with my friend. its really cool and easy. No connectivitiy issues. Some issues with windows live id login. Hope its beta issue. Anyhow glad to know that, i got some really useful tool for desktop sharing.

ooVoo - Multi-person Video Chat comes to Windows

Finally video chat with mulitple person comes to windows. Mac Os Already got this feauture. I waited for this feature in windows. ooVoo is similar to skype. currently oovoo giving free phone calls to US and cananda. you can also do some funny video effects when you are chating with your friends. WOW! Now THIS is impressive! It looks to me like Skyfire has managed to essentially (almost) match full-page browsing on the iPhone, for the Windows mobile platform, and majorly leapfrog Opera's Mini browser. This is very innovative and appears to be exceptionally very well done, especially for a beta. I think this program is going to be HUGE!

At least with respect to web browsing, the Windows mobile platform has now essentially matched (and in some ways even beaten) Safari on the iPhone through this new application.

I tried many online task management site. but not impressed. but today i find this site which is really cool. Remember the milk (rtm) is the site name. check it out here .its a cool site. i can use Twitter to send my tasks. Just add rtm as a friend in your twitter. and sign up in rtm and send task to the rtm as send twitter message as  "d rtm task name". so simple. you can also set reminders. to mention the completed task  send message to twitter as "d rtm !complete task name". you can also view the today's task list by sending message to twitter "d rtm !today". if you dont know about twitter check my previous post about twitter. Want to know more about using rtm in twitter? check it out here.  Hope i can maintain my tasks using this rtm.
